	Additional Description

	Cucumber is soothing and hydrating to the skin, and offers natural astringent properties. It is not a true hydrosol because cucumber does not produce an essential oil. Rather, it is a natural water that imparts the benefits of cucumber to many products. It’s widely incorporated into lotions, creams, gels, and water based products. Wholly distilled from cucumber, clear to pale yellow, can have a slight haze, and has a refreshing, green cucumber aroma. Orange Blossom makes a wonderful skin toner and is wonderfully kind to dry, irritated or sensitive skin. It is great for regulating oiliness and minimizes enlarged pores. Mixed with Witch Hazel, it gently clears acne and blemished skin, especially if the skin lacks moisture. With regular treatment, it can reduce the appearance of fragile or broken capillaries and varicose veins. Rose has soothing properties and can be used to even out blotchy skin, treat inflammation, and hydrate delicate skin. It is a cooling and mild astringent. Try using it in a face mask, as a toner, or as an aromatic and hypoallergenic personal body spray. Also works great as a natural air freshener. Rose benefits emotional processing, balancing and improving your ability to love.

	Safety Information
	A working knowledge of essential oils and herbs insures safety and effectiveness. Before using, always read safety precautions and consult your healthcare specialist. Although Mermaid's Purse uses all natural ingredients, there may be individuals who have allergies or sensitivities. With the exception of Lavender and Tea Tree, Essential Oils need to be diluted into a carrier oil before application to the skin. A good rule of thumb is to never exceed 30 drops of Essential Oil per 1oz of Carrier Oil. Many Essential Oils are quite affective with just a few drops, so use sparingly and cautiously! To ensure safety, always test a small patch of skin first. Discontinue use if you experience redness, irritation or other adverse reactions. While essential oils and herbs have many great benefits, some natural ingredients should not be used in the presence of certain diseases or conditions.
